| Well I don't have much to say about these last days here in Mexico
other then it was really relaxing and lots of fun. Just basically chilled at the
hotel and went to the pool and stuff. I even went to the very top of the hotel to get some sun. We had our very own private sun deck!!! We could see the whole city and it was a great site...this was our last time flying our chartered plane, it was a blast having our own plane. I took some
pictures in the cockpit and on it. We had some pranks on there and
chartered planes are so laid back and really fun. It was pretty cool
chilling in the captains deck, cause nowadays those doors are code
shut. Our last shows were great, our security guards were awesome and
took pictures with me. Luciano (security guard), from Argentina, took me up to get a
crepe at the venue and was jealous because they looked fantastic and tasted great!! The
crowd was loud and had piercing screams, for some reason its music
to the ears. It was happy and sad performing our last 2 shows, I assume this
will be our last time for HSM. Who knows maybe their will be an HSM 2
tour??? We'll all have wait and see... Jared

| Today my parents came to spend the rest of the trip with me. It was
pretty cool having them there with me. We went to Mexico's
pyramids. It was so awesome and really interesting, the people that
lived there years ago believed that earth would end in 2012....I
guess we'll have to see if they were right! :O, We learned that they
believed in energies instead of gods and they lived in underground
caverns. The guide also told us we had to climb the pyramid steps sideways 7
times to the right, and 6 times to the left. There were also some
nasty red fire ants on the ground, and they were huge! I
don't really like fire ants that much cause when I lived in Hawaii I
would get bitten by them, and it wasn't very fun. We climbed one of
the pyramids and it was about 260 steps to the very top! It was
tiring, very steep, but a lot of fun! We also did an experiment with hand
clapping next to the pyramids. That was quite interesting.
You had to be facing a certain way and close to the pyramid, you could hear a bazaar sound
when you clapped, it sounded like a 22. pistol going off, it was
really cool.
After we were all finished with our tour, we shopped around the pyramids for some cool
souvenirs and then headed back to Mexico City for our show. Mexico
City is famous for their bootleg items for shows, and I gotta say the
stuff outside the stadium was 10 times better then the items sold
inside. My parents bought me a really cool jersey that had the NBA
logo but was a wildcats jersey. So next time anyone sees a show in
Mexico City, check out the products around the stadium. Today, was my
last day of being sick but I had plenty of it on our last show. But I
got through the show and it went very well. I loved the audience and
it was jammed packed inside. Also after "Breaking Free," the crowd
chanted for Troy to kiss Gabriella, so he did so on the cheek and
everyone cheered. It was quite a finish! Jared

| Our flight from Caracas left around midnight and we didn't get into
Mexico until 8 am. We were all tired from our flight, everyone went straight to their
rooms to sleep. Today is show day, so a lot of us are trying to
get some rest to have some energy before the show, and we don't pass out on stage. It
feels great to be in Mexico, its really cool here. Our venue in Monterrey is an
amphitheater and is designed to allow people to sit at the very top on the grass
and can actually lay down. Their is a mall next to our hotel and I ran over
there to check out a few things. They had a really cool pet
store and best of all they had a Carls Jr.!!!! That was the best
burger I had since leaving the U.S. and I enjoyed it! ^_^ Our shows
went great. The crowd was
great although our last show it rained outside on the grass, but that
didn't stop anyone from enjoying the show. All of them were in their
rain ponchos or had umbrellas. Also, I forgot to mention earlier, after
the last song of each show, the six cast members would run out and
wear the colors and jerseys of the countries. After our a show a
group of local kids that reenact HSM came to the meet and greet and
performed some of the songs in Spanish. After the meet and greet, we
got back on our buses and had a police escort to the hotel. - Jared

| Apparently most of the cast if not all didn't really know the scheduling delays in Venezuela.
But we started to realize it, the longer we stayed there. Some of the cast were told not to go outside the
hotel, while they were trying to sort out the flight delays. We come to find out that Venezuela is really going through some interesting times especially for Americans visiting there. Hugo Chavez (http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Chavez) the president of Venezuela doesn't like our government. Also, today the maids would just walk into our
rooms, with our "Do Not Disturb" signs on "checking out" our personal
stuff. I was amazed that they would even attempt doing such a
thing, and had to confront them to leave our rooms. To make a long
story short, we were happy to leave but, at the same time knowing that they are a lot of wonderful people with a lot of love for us from Venezuela. When the plane took off, everyone cheered and
we all hoped things will get better for the people there. Also the
day we left Hugo had pulled a major popular TV station off the air, and there is
continued civil unrest in Venezuela, to check out more go to

| I slept in pretty late cause there is just no way I'm going to get
better if I don't rest. The schedule and the shows just doesn't allow me to
recover as quickly if I was home. But I felt better today
knowing that I finally was getting some meds to help with this flu.
Just before we left for the venue, security (seguridad in Spanish)
told us not to bring anything we didn't want to lose. They said that
this place in particular was notorious for "misplacing things." So
I didn't bring my camera for fear of losing it, and I
wanted to take pictures of Caracas, to add those of Argentina
and Brazil. But, I did get to take pictures from my hotel room and plane ride
but that was about it. Our show today was in a baseball stadium, it
wasn't too big but it was really beautiful. I will try to get
some pictures from Marc (our staff photographer) so I can show you the stadium. Also, right
before our show, we found out the moths here are about as big as
birds! It was pretty funny seeing bugs that big. The girls were all
freaking out! A big one landed on the steps leading up to the stage, the girls
wouldn't go up them unless someone scared the moth away, finally we "took" care of the problem and our show went very well, even though I wasn't feeling very good I still had a good
time. During Headstrong, their was a moth on the stage the size of my
fist! I almost stepped on the huge bug, but by the end of the song he
had flown away... shucks! After the show, we returned to the hotel, and later in the evening we were scheduled to leave. But that wasn't the case......

| Now, until we leave to return home, we will have our own chartered
plane. We had to make a refueling stop in Brazil just before we
crossed the border to Venezuela. We hear that it is pretty unsafe in Caracas, because of civil unrest and people were rioting in the streets the day before, and
were told that we couldn't leave the hotel. We got in around 1am at
our hotel and went straight up to our rooms to sleep except for me...
I had a huge fever so I had a doctor come up and see what she could could do for me. The doctor told me she would give me some stuff later in the day... Jared

| This show was quite amazing, and we had over 46,000 people there! We had so many people at the front that we couldn't throw the basketballs out after "Getcha Head In The Game" for fear of people crushing each other to get the balls! But the show went very well, people sang along, cheered, and clapped throughout the whole show. Everyone of our cast members were very impressed with the crowds response and participation. After the show, the Meet and Greet had to be done red carpet style because apparently they had been giving out unauthorized passes for the meet and greet. So it was a little crazy and could have gotten out of hand but it actually went very well. After that, we headed out back to our hotel to rest and relax. - Jared

| Well sadly this morning I woke up around 5 am and had a sore throat and later on came to find that I had caught the flu bug! Yuck! So I won't be feeling good for a week, but I'll get through it. Anyways, we all got to Brazil and met the Chief of Police, he is a very good man and also quite a character. On the way to the hotel, we had a police escort on motorcycles and they wore bulletproof vests, pretty cool eh! - Jared |

| This stadium was huge and the crowd was amazing! They sang every word and even threw stuffed animals and letters on stage. They even chanted Ashley's name after every song she performed (her album is number 1 in Chile)! I got to talk to my brother after the show and he said how perfect the show was. He told me how much it meant to him and the families that he brought with him and how appreciative they were. It was sad saying goodbye to my brother but I know how busy he is and I'm glad that he is doing well and I got to visit with him, and I wasn't the only one but the entire cast got to visit and told him how much they missed him and how nice it was to see him again. It was a memorable night that I will always cherish!! - Jared

| It was a sad day leaving Argentina considering we had been there for a while and had such a good time. The flight to Chile wasn't long and I was excited to get there because my brother who was in original HSM is currently there. When we got to Chile, it reminded me of Utah because of the mountains and Fall weather it had. When we got to the airport we were mobbed by all the airport workers and also when we left, there were tons of people outside which was mostly press. They almost crushed us trying to get onto the bus! And even after we had got onto the bus they continued to follow us in their cars with their bodies hanging out with video cameras in hand. When we got to the hotel, all anyone wanted to do was just rest. - Jared

| Today was a really interesting day. When we got to the stadium Marc (our photographer for the tour who has been documenting our tour so he can create a picture book) asked everyone if they wanted some food from Mcdonalds because he was going down there to eat. He collected the money and got everyone's order and he left to get the food. An hour later. he comes back with only Mcflurries in his hands! To make a long story short, a little kid from Buenos Aires managed to swipe the food while Marc was walking back! But, after we heard that, we weren't too upset because the kid probably needed the food more then we did. Well, when the show started we noticed the video screens were not working, so we had to rewind back to Status Quo because we felt bad. the people were not getting what they paid for. Well, after 10 mins of trying to get it to work we were back up and running, and not a single person left the stadium. The Meet and Greet was quite different this time because the people knew where it was, and the people who didn't have passes were trying to break into the session. And, also people who had gone through were selling their passes outside, so we had to cancel the Meet and Greet because it got out of hand. After that, we all went to an italian restaurant with the cast and had some amazing italian food while Kenny Ortega entertained us with stories of previous tours he had done.  Well, today is the day when we officially began our shows. People from all over Argentina came to see High School Musical the Concert. The crowds response to the very beginning of the show was phenomenal! There was nothing like it! A sea of people cheering! The show was amazing and after, we did our usual meet and greet. It was great to see people so happy about the show! Jared |

 Rehearsal started at 4 p.m. and when we got there the place was huge! It reminded me a lot of the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics in Salt Lake City. It was a football stadium of 50,000 seats! It was also used as a grade school during the morning and afternoon. Our stage was awesome! It looked so much bigger then where we have been rehearsing before. Jared |

 Well, we are off on another tour for High School Musical! But, unfortunately I didn't bring my laptop. So I apologize for the blogs taking so long to get put up. Also I should have all the pictures up from the tour by the end of this month with Buenos Aires, Santiago and more. The first flight heading to Buenos Aires was about 4 hours and the 2nd one was about 8 hours. When we got there we went straight to a ranch that had amazing show and race horses. We also ate some amazing food and the steak was awesome! After that, we headed back to our hotel where we all got checked in and caught some much needed shut eye. - Jared |

 Hey everyone, check out our boyband, The Factory! We have already cut several songs that I know you're gonna like! We are scheduled to release our first album this summer. I will keep you up to date on our next plans. Yes, we plan to perform on tour as soon as possible and I look forward to seeing all of you there... Jared |
